Okay i got a problem my sis's comp wont boot cause it says unmountable_boot_volume. CAn this be related to not turning off the computer properly like just holding down the power button for it to go off? Anyway okay so I decided to reinstall windows on the comp which is a dell by the way. And I put in the windows cd and it doesnt boot from cd so i restart the comp go into bios and theres no option there so then i push F12 to get to the boot menu and i select IDE CD-Rom Device and it keeps giving me Strike F1 to retry reboot, F2 for setup utility. I hit F1 and nothing happens. Any suggestions? Damn Dell mobos to hell!!

maybe your hard drive is currupt make sure you have it set so it runs from the cd-rom first not the hard drive.

It clearly says there isn't a boot to cd option in the bios that he can see.. ;)

make the cdrom the first in the boot priority the 3.5 disk second and the hd 3rd... ie boot from cd.. :)
