lol totally illegal. he can only share it with immediate family members i believe. if you can afford $2K a year then call up M$ and ask for a license. they'll send you as many copies as you want lol.
yah i think its that much for the license. you get copies of software, discounts, certain rights that would be "illegal" to a normal customer like sharing copies or burning them or sumthin...im not sure exactly what the benefits are really.
can't you just go to bootdisk.com on the front page i see xp boot disk FLOPPY and CD but if you get cd, you have to make sure your bios has cd boot before hard drive otherwise your harddrive will load before the cd.
and isn't 4 gb a little small for linux? just curious
a regular bootdisk is only one floopy the one for installing the xp is 6 floopy dont know is kind of useless unless you bios dont support booting from cd rom first.
Can I make a backup copy of my XP CD? I made a copy in case the other one gets scratched or something. When I try and use the copy to reinstall, it wont boot.
If you used Nero (or compatible burning software) and burned a boot disk it would ask you where you wanted to extract the boot.ini file from. It could come from a floppy disk. There are several places you can download the necessary files. Just search and you will find it.
