Boot Not Working

When turning on my Pc to instally windows I have set up the boot sequence so that my pc first boots from the cd drive. When i press a key to boot from the cd it cashes the system.

What can I do????
 
Need some more info, like what mobo have you got, processor, RAM, CD-drives, Hard drives. What bios version are you running. Initial suggestion is to check cables and wiring, possibility of a dead drive though.
 
MSI K7n2 motherboard
1GB ddr RAM
LG DVD rewriter
ATapi CDRW
ATI sapphire 256MB Graphics Card
AMD Smpron Processor 2500
nForce BIos
2 HDD 1 Maxtor 20GB 1 Maxtor 40GB
All jumper settings are right and system detcts them on loading.
Brand new drives

any more info u need just ask

Try removing the IDE cable from one of the drives; I've seen several occasions where multiple CD/DVD drives render Windows installations impossible.
