okay so i want to have 2 320GB hdds in my pc.

which i have.

the one is my main booting disk and the other is a junk disk really.

heres the problem, the main disk has win7 on it. but so does the other disk.
i can get it to boot (sorta) from the main disk with the second diskplugged in, but hangs at the Starting Windows logo and does the windows shiny flag animation for ever. i tried booting into the 320gb junk disk but the screen stays black and the top left corner theres a little underscore which stays there forever.

the hard drive doesnt make any clicking noises or whatsoever its just stubborn lol

If the system boots fine without the drive in then its a bad drive or has errors which needs to fixed. Remove the original disk and run the hard drive makers disk diagnostic software on the second drive to see what its says. But frankly, I would say the second drive is toast.

well i got a bit further than the windows loading screen, now it says it has to run the CHKDSK, it starts but cant find the path for it so it says: path //?//etc and says the CHKDSK failed. ill try to run a diagnostics later on today
