BOOT Problems, again.

Okay, I've had so many boot problems myself that I should have been able to get this one. I have a new Asus motherbaord, a 7600GT, practically new, a new E6750 core 2 duo and a new thermaltake 850w PSU and 3GB of DDRII. The motherboard doesn't come with integrated graphics. When I power on, it starts up for about 1 second then switches off. About 3 seconds later it starts up again, but no POST. I took everything out of the case, used minimal hardware (PSU, VGA, CPU and RAM) and still the same thing. Normally I would go and buy a new mobo and try that but here's where it gets interesting...

The same thing was happening with my old hardware, so that's why I got a new mobo, new ram and new cpu. So when it kept happening I tested my other stuff. Every single part is known to be working, but when I put it all together and try to "make it work" it just doesn't. I'm completely stumped and seeing as I just spent my last dollar on the new stuff I can't afford to get it repaired.
 
try to single out the ram to one stick. The mobo could possibly be fault, the cpu may be faulty. The heatsink may not be seated properly and causing the cpu to overheat and cut off. There's a number of things that could be wrong.
 
All parts are compatible. I've tried, with all four sticks of ram, reseated thing, tried different PSUs. Trie devery trick I know and still nothing. I may just take it back to the store where they can use some diagnostic tools, maybe a POST card or something. They know me so they might do it for free for me.
 
MAke sure you have ht e4pin, 20 + 4, or the 6 pin plugged in correctly.


Make sure nothings shorting

Make sure the CPU is seatly correctly
 
When you installed your computer properly, Did you seat ALL the Stand Offs?

The little Copper Things that hold the motherboard off the case?

If not, your computer could be shorting.
 
Asus boards are notorious about the ram they like, also they have problems auto detecting the correct timings and voltages for the ram. Go into your bios and check that the timings are set correctly for the ram you are using.

What motherboard and ram are you using? (model numbers and part numbers please)
