hey guys i just finish building my new computer and installed the software....so now...how do i boot straight to windows xp without going to the screeen where it checks if all the drives are connected?

The default posts tests will run as a rule. By default the mother board logo is seen when powering up the system until the initial post tests are complete. From there the bios then looks for the boot device mainly the hard drive where Windows was installed to. To see a slightly faster boot over running the slower full tests on everything however simply enable the "fastboot" option if seen in the system bios itself.

Actually, to disable it checking the HDDs to see if they are there ("autodetect") go into the BIOS and set the drives manually. Then disable any drive that doesn't exist instead of leaving it on auto, forcing the computer to search for something that isn't there.
