Bootcamp imac or build new pc?

I bought an imac last spring. Having never owned a mac before I figured it would be worth giving one a try. Not really impressed but that is a separate issue.

I would like to start playing PC games again. The 360 is getting old. Same games over and over.

My options are to bootcamp my mac with windows 7 and upgrade the ram, or to build a new gaming pc.

I have the 2011 imac in the link. I have pieced together a pc once but am not entirely familiar with all the specs. Most of the information for hardware just seems like numbers. They don't relate as of yet.

The mac seems capable of running most new games. The ones I am interested in presently are morrowind, skyrim, and BF3. I would like to mod morrowind, and play the others at higher settings.

Will the mac play these games with some degree of performance or I am best of saving $200 on upgrades and putting it towards a new pc?

You will be better off building a newer computer than bootcamping that one. The main issue being the HD6750m which is enough for BF3, but you will not get much above low settings, mainly due to the 512MB of vRAM, and low core count (should be in the 640 cores range).
