NEed Help ppls. I had an excellent idea during my working time...somethign that would shurely help me alot. Since I work with sports booking agency we work with loads of computers. Now, I have to pull on image on every single one of those computers on my own, doing stralls that take about an 3-4 hours. My idea was to make an primary machine, with bootable Norton Ghost. That machine would had all partition images I use to "image" computers that need to be done. I wanna set them up with IPX. Example:

1 client machine that boots directly in Norton Ghost.
10 machines that are wired to switch on which client machine is connected aswell.
Those 10 machine boot that image over LAN right after post procedure get it?

Thing is I wanna make them all boot from that client machine before even trying to boot from local hdd so I can make them pull and install image which is normally used on those computers.

In this way I can spare load of time for other preps I need. ie: Not having to walk around with usb drive and keyboard waiting in front of machines...

Can this be done?
Thought crossed me mind when I saw POST trying to boot from LAN...

thnx for the answer.

Well, you will need to purchase the Enterprise version of Ghost, which is super expensive. You also need to set up a server and a router that combined run these services:

DHCP
DNS
PXE boot

To be honest, if you only got 10 machines I would check out DRBL and Clonezilla as it is free and can do everything ghost can. However, you would have to know how to use Linux.
