Bootmgr is compressed

Hi guys lately I keep on getting this "Bootmgr is compressed, press ctrl+alt+del to restart" when I restart my pc or turn on my pc. Then I have to put my Vista cd in and go to command prompt and type "bootrec /fixboot", restart my pc in order to get into my desktop. Now I have not compressed anything. I don't know why I am getting this bullshit. Any help would be very much appreciated. Thanks.

Try booting to your Vista installation CD. Choose Repair. Select the OS
(should be the only one that shows up). It should repair the BOOTMGR.

well make sure that the "compress this drive to save disk space" check box NOT checked on your boot partition. (for example C:\)
