Borderlands work?

hi all i was wondering if borderlands would work on my computer

my specs

2.7GHz e5400 dual core processor?? i think lol defo dual core 2.7GHz

ATI Radeon 4550 HD 1GB DDR2 graphics card

4GB ram

and i easily have enough hard drive space if you need more info please tell me

ohh and also would battlefield bad company 2 work on that aswell
because the canyourunit.com said it wouldnt but only because of the processor name.... whereas the processor speed is fine???

Borderland should run smooth, it is a brilliant game, but a shame it's not that bit longer.

Bad Company 2 is a little more demanding...

i have all the stuff needed for battlefield bad company 2 but im still not sure if it will run and i dont want to spend £30-40 on a game that wont work do you know if there is going to be a demo or something? or if there already is a demo? thanks for replies :)
 
Looks like the demo is only available on PS3 and Xbox 360 for now.

I read that you only get the beta demo version if you pre-order the game. What is the point in that?
