bottom line on Limewire??

I've heard many rumors of people that got their computers messed up by downloading Limewire. I really want to download this softeware, but am not willing to put my computer in danger. So my question is, is it safe for me to download Limewire or could it mess up my computer? If it is not safe for me to download, can someone reccomend me a file sharing program like that that doesn't trash a computer??

Dont Use Limewire

The amount of times i had urged people not to use this software is uncountable
It comes with a lot of extras which are uninstallable but really annoying, and leave hidden extras that take a while to find
I use MORPHEUS - it hosts files for a quicker speed download and doesnt come with all the nasty extras

Optionally you can download Kazza Lite a spywarefree version of Kazaa. I havent used it myself, but at least it doesnt bring any new friends with it.

walmart is 88 cents plus tax and i think its like 96 cents with tax.

alot of what is on Limewire is illegal! It has to be at least 70 - 80% illegal "stuff" to download!

The topic of Downloading music, videos, applications, etc... has been going on since this forum began. There are numerous threads on this topic.. open, closed and deleted. Use the Search Engine to find them....

This debate is never going to end and there is little point in rehashing it over and over again every few days.
