bought 1gb of ram for laptop

bought 1gb of ram for my laptop and i was just wondering will it be able to run games more smoother because atm im running gta sa on my laptop i got 2x256 ram and 1.6 celeron m and it plays it but its abit you know jolty sloopy i was just wondering will it play it more smooth with my new 1gig

Yeah it should play smoother,What graphics does the laptop have?

The 1 gig will definently make it smoother. Although most laptops arent made for demanding games.

intel graphics media accelerator 900 with 128mb/mo max shard with main memory

Yeah well someone correct me if im wrong but that graphics is constantly using 128Mb of system ram,If youve upgraded it to the 1Gb then there will be more ram available for the system

My Desktop system was using 64Mb of my ram constantly but no it doesnt.
