Bought a P6X58D Premium...

So I ordered my new motherboard yesterday, ran in to some issues in the purchase process... I ordered and newegg said that they couldn't confirm my billing info, so I called the bank and they said it was all good. It should have shipped yesterday and I would have recieved it today but didn't work out that way. I did chat online last night with customer service and it got worked out. I was hoping for it today, but now wont see it until tuesday. That is all irrelevant tho. I really was wondering about the SATA 3 and USB 3. Will it be insanely faster to wait and buy a SATA 3 SSD than screw around with a SATA 2? Also, what kind of devices are available for USB 3? Are there some x-hard drives out that are affordable? Does anyone have one of these boards? If so how do you like it?
 
Thanks, interesting to read about people being less than enthusiastic about it... Also I somehow missed the SATA 3 SSD when I was on newegg... Wonder what happened there?
