If I have XP installed on my home pc I can then install it on the laptop, theres nothing in the software to stop this, Is there?

Yes there is. Especially with Home Edition- install on one system only because it checks up when ever you get an internet connection. XP Pro Corporate edition, you can can install on more than one system. Doesnt the laptop come with its own operating system?

You didn't specify much about that laptop(brand and all) but I suspect you could find one that's cheaper, better, and comes with an OS... Really, that laptop's not very good.

nope, wont work,

xp will require online activation within 30 days of installation, then it will lock you out.

If it is an oem version, it wont let you install on a different system anyhow.

This will sound strange but i dont intend to ever go on the internet with it, as I only want it to play on football manager, so how is it meant to get online activation?
