Brand New Pc Build

Hey everyone.
I've been looking to build a new PC for awhile.
I've done a lot of researching lately and know what I'm doing for the most part, but any recommendations, hardware switches, or things to note would be greatly appreciated.

CPU- Phenom 2 x4 955 Black Edition
CPU Cooler - CORSAIR CAFA70
Motherboard - ASRock 870 Extreme3, AM3, ATX
GPU- Sapphire Radeon HD 6870 1GB
RAM- G.SKILL Ripjaw, (2 x 2gb), DDR3 1333 (PC3 10666), unbrushed
PSU- CORSAIR 650TX / 650WT
HDD- Western Digital Caviar Blue 500GB / 7200 RPM /
DVD Drive - ASUS Black
OS- Win7

I'd love for anyone to review the build for incompatibilities/recommendations before I order.

Edit: Also this came to mind. Currently I have 2x2gb 1333 ram in one of the dual channels. The motherboard supports 1600, but only when the ram is overclocked. Would I be able to get 2x2gb 1600 ram and keep only that channel overclocked all the time?

Looks good - except for the motherboard. Go one up and get the ASRock 880G Extreme3 versus the 870. The 870 uses a 4+1 power phase whereas the 880G uses an 8+2 design. If you're planning on overclocking, the latter is better. You'll get cleaner power to the CPU and it'll allow you to overclock further, use higher voltages and have less vdroop.

And the board has an integrated GPU, good for testing if your main one dies or as a backup.

Build looks good!
Do you plan to overclock your CPU?(I noticed you planned on getting aftermarket CPU coolers)

Could just get 1600 instead. It will default @ 1333 but you could bump it up if you wanted. 2x2 GS 1600 C8 is $9 more. The blue drive may be a little slow for os. Try WDB or Samsung F3/F4.

+1 to both of these, especially the Samsung F3 drive, they are really nice :)
