Broken Drivers, looking for driver software

I got driver detective to check my drivers because i have been having system crashes and from checking all my hardware, i know it is all sound and working (1 component at i time i swapped it into a system i know is working and ran memtest, stress tests etc). It came up witht hat i have out of date drivers, so manually i updated these, but it is also saying that i have broken drivers.

Well, i am not going to buy a piece of software that costs £15 or so (after conversions) that there is most probably a freeware solution for. Even if there isn't a freeware option i'm still not buying it, stupid price for what it is, would rather set aside a day or 2 and manually uninstall/reinstall/update my drivers.

So, my question here is, do any of you know a piece of freeware that can repair drivers/updatee drivers for free?

Yeah, its called going to the manufacturers web site and downloading them. I do not recommend using driver update programs such as the one you are using.

I got to second Johnb35 thoses programs are about as good a registry cleaners which means they do more harm then good. If you have manually updates all the drivers they are fine and it's something else causing the issue.

Alright then, well it all seems to be nvidia stuff that is playing up, my video card drives, my nforce stuff (so mobo stuff, most of it apparently), my printer is too, but its a piece of crap hp so no surprises there.

I'll have a look on the nvidia website for all of their drivers for everything that is apparently acting up. Thanks for the help and advice :)
