Every now and then my browsers will both stop working, they'll both give me the error 'cannot connect to the server', in their own words of course.
However, MSN Messenger still works fine, and I can talk to people with it while the browsers are down.
Anyone have any ideas? I tried recovery console, which said Vista has no known errors.. I re-installed FireFox (before the re-install, I deleted every trace of it from my computer, including all add-ons).. that didn't work.
I'm lost here, I just don't know what to do
..I'm open to suggestions.
For the record, I did try numerous sites in each of the browsers when I get the error, and no sites would load.. also, when I reboot the computer, the problem is 'fixed'.. at least until it happens again.
