I'm getting BSOD when the computer tries to sleep on it's on or when i close the lid, It seems to work ok when i Press "Fn" + "F1" (Sleep).
It's a Dell Vostro 3400 Windows 7 Pro 32 bit.

I tried looking up the "Caused By Driver : ntkrnlpa.exe" but didnt find too much for my exact situation. I did update my sd card reader just in case. I'm going to leave the laptop open and let it go to sleep "naturally" on it's timer to try and recreate the issue.
I'll update if i get the BSOD again.

Here is the Bluescreen View report:

Start by making sure all drivers are updated. Antivirus and and backup software drivers can also cause this to happen. You may want to see if there is a bios update as well.

I've gone through most of the drivers, but looks like i missed the Chipset and memory card reader. Updated those. Now it's a waiting game again. Thanks for the re-reminder to look at the drivers.

Looks like 13 days with no BSOD. I've been putting it to sleep via closing the lid, instead of the "safe" way of FN+F1.

I'm going to call this SOLVED.

Thanks for the help.

looks like i had another one. This time it was plugged into the A/C outlet:

A problem has been detected and Windows has been shut down to prevent damage
to your computer.

The problem seems to be caused by the following file: ntkrnlpa.exe

DRIVER_POWER_STATE_FAILURE

If this is the first time you've seen this stop error screen,
restart your computer. If this screen appears again, follow
these steps:

Check to make sure any new hardware or software is properly installed.
If this is a new installation, ask your hardware or software manufacturer
for any Windows updates you might need.

If problems continue, disable or remove any newly installed hardware
or software. Disable BIOS memory options such as caching or shadowing.
If you need to use safe mode to remove or disable components, restart
your computer, press F8 to select Advanced Startup Options, and then
select Safe Mode.

Sorry for replying late, but going through some old emails from the forum to make sure they got replied to. If you are still getting blue screens, zip up the dump files and attach them to your next reply. Maybe we can track it down that way.
