My Aunt Computer Got The BSOD And She Wanted Me To Fix It
I Bought A New Hdd And Windows 7 And I Tried Installing Windows And The Blue Screen Keep Coming Up.
So I Tried Installing It Using My Computer And It Worked Fine And I Put The Hdd Back In The Computer And It Said
The File Is Possibly Corrupt The File Header Checksum Does Not Match The Computed Checksum

Its Saying Windows Wont Boot
Do I Need New Ram??

What Should I Do?

For one, you can't install windows on a hard drive while its installed in a different computer then where the drive is intended to go to. It must be installed while in the system its going to be used in. If the system is bluescreening then do this.

Download BlueScreenView
No installation required.
Unzip downloaded file and double click on BlueScreenView.exe file to run the program.
When scanning is done, go Edit>Select All.
Go File>Save Selected Items, and save the report as BSOD.txt.
Open BSOD.txt in Notepad, copy all content, and paste it into your next reply.

You said you bought a new hard drive right? Does the old hard drive boot into windows? If neither drive will boot into windows, what blue screen code is giving you?

ok so when i installed windows 7 and installed in the the computer its saying windoes wont boot

in the old hdd is theblue screen that says that some hardware was changed

What is the bluescreen code that comes up? Should be similar to 0x00000000. Without that code, its hard to help you. You may have to take it in to have it diagnosed.

So is this after you installed it on your system and transferred it to her's? If so, this can't be done. You need to install fresh while the hard drive is in her system. Would need the bluescreen code from that. If this is from a fresh install on her machine then I suspect this is a hardware issue. Unhook everything not needed to install windows such as any usb devices.. printers, external drives. Remove any addon pci cards. All you need is mouse, keyboard, video, memory. HDD, and cdrom.

this pic is the old hdd
and when i try to install window on the new hdd this screen comes up
do i need annother ram

it had 1gb and 2gb but i tested it and the 2gb went bad so is a 1gb ok to install windows 7

You may want to try to different known good working memory and try installing again. Other than that, not sure what the issue could be.

The most I can tell you is that this is a hardware issue. Only way to diagnose what is to take it somewhere to have it diagnosed properly. Could be motherboard if you can't even install a fresh copy of windows.
