hey guys my system got problems,

I keep getting BSOD when start a game ,i couldnt quite catch the code as it goes off before i can even read it

but it said something about dumping physical memory.

when it crashes i hear my hard drive shut down like stop spinning and the computer restarts

i recently re-installed windows and used the latest available Nvidia drivers for my gfx card.
also Firefox Version 3:00 keeps on crashing and Windows explorer keeps on crashing too.

does your computer pass memtest? i just typed in BCcode: D1 and a lot of results were of bad memory sticks.

well i have never run memtest on it since it was built which i should have to check that the ram was healthy but ive had the rig for months not and its been solid....no problems at all.

It only seems to have gone like this since i re-installed windows.

Do you think the latest Nvidia drivers could have cause it?

I'm using the latest nVidia Drivers at the moment, seem to be Ok...

I'd give Memtest a try... Use the bootable ISO one and let it run for about 4 hours (3 pass')

ran it for 3 hours and 45 mins today...got 5 passes and no errors.

im pretty sure its a driver problem though, yesturday i got an error about my HD audio driver and the pc restarted.

i remember now i havnt installed any sound drivers, the reason i didnt is because unusualy this time after installing Vista my sound just worked as i usualy had to install drivers before i got any sound

im going to re-install vista clean and maybe roll back a driver or so on the gfx card just to be sure.
