BSOD with Win 10

Board is Foxconn BloodRage GTI LGA 1366 Intel X58 ATX Intel. bios version is 6.00PG. There are no patterns as to when the bluescreens appear. Computer can be idles for a couple of hours and then I begin to use it, or in the middle of use when on Microsoft Office or maybe even Quicken.

I just started checking the dates of the drivers and I am finding some of them to be of June 2006. Even the brand new SSD hd (Samsung) is 6/21/2006. Should I use the "driver update" button to chekc for updates? Is that usually reliable?

The board is Foxconn BloodRage GTI LGA 1366 Intel X58 ATX Intel and the bios version is 6.00PG. I've also been checking some driver dates and there are a number from June of 2006. Even the driver for the new Samsung SSD hd is that date. Can I use the "Update Driver" button in Device Manager? Is it reliable?

Sorry, I didn't know the previous posts made it.

I went ahead and used the "driver update" button on all of the items listed in device manager and it always came back saying this is the latest driver.

Check your driver dates for each of the following items.

1. Video card
2. Ethernet adapter
3. Sound card
4. chipset
5. Wireless - if applicable

Don't worry about the driver date for any hdd/sdd.

I would give you the updated driver for sound and ethernet but Realtek's website is running really slow and won't fully load.

1. 1/13/2015
2. Not sure how it's listed under device manager
3. 10/29/2015
4. Also not sure how this is listed
5. I went on Ralink's web site and found that I do have the latest.

What video card do you have? That driver is way outdated.
Ethernet adapter is listed under network adapters.

Are you using wireless for internet or a cable?

I have the Radeon HD 4890 card. I checked on their site and they do not have a driver for this card that supports Windows 10 (because of the age). It said that it would default to a Windows driver. It still works and I do not sotice any issues with it.

I connect wireless to the internet.

You might want to think about upgrading your video card. Until we can get a bluescreen code with something definite, you might want to think about reinstalling windows. On those bluescreen dump files, 1 referenced explorer.exe causing it and the other one was svchost.exe so there is nothing definite here explaining why.

OK. I'm good with updating the card, not sure which one (am willing to spend up to $200). This site helped me build this computer quite a few years ago. I welcome any suggestions. Here is what I currently have.

Also, I'd rather wait until I get another bluescreen, hopefully with something more definite. I'm really not a fan of reinstalling Windows because invariably I screw something up with reinstalling software. If I get another bluescreen, I'll gather the data as you have asked and post it and see what happens.
