kinda a dumb question but if i have a newly formatted drive with nothing on it about to load windows and it BSOD's telling me drive is corrupt to check for errors, that pretty much means the drive is dead right?

The errors may be fixable but most likely the drive should be returned for a new one. Not very good if right off the bat that its showing errors.

yea i tried fixing the errors and it still came back bsod. its an older drive that i had in there and it started to give me issues so i reformatted it to reload windows and then started bsod so im assuming its bad, just ordered a new one
