whats up with newegg, and their dvd drives, they are all sold out. Like before there used to be ton even ones for like $19.99 shipped sata.

People building computers, the drives being on sale and they cant get them back in stock soon enough would be my guess.
 
i guess ive never really been a fan of amd but then again ive never done a build with this sort of budget. il look into that
 
so this is what ive come up with, he has somehow come across an operating system so....the 500$ turned to 600. Could I go with a weaker psu and put some of that extra money elsewhere?

That motherboard is AM2, you have ddr2 memory in the list. Either switch to ddr3 memory, or an am2+ motherboard such as this:
