I'm building a new budget system by upgrading certain components. ATM I have a q6600 B3 that can't overclock. an EVGA 680i 8gb of reapers @ 1066 and 1 8800 ultra.
I do intended on gaming, the witcher, Hunted the demon's forge, New Elder scrolls, New hitman and Diablo 3 whenever that comes out.
Planned because I can get them.
i5 2400 ($105) Used
EVGA GTX 460 Superclocked ($110)
Asus P8P67 Deluxe ( $116)
Kingston Hyperx 6gb 1600hrz ($85/ $35 after rebate)
At $105 price for the i5 2400 is it something I should jump at or should I wait save a bit more $ and go spend the extra $120 for an i5 2500k??
Is the system good? I'm just worried that I maybe rushing myself to jump at these because the prices seem good. I think I need assurance that I'm making a sound decision.
