budget card comparison

Hi,

I'm looking at budget cards, and was wondering HOW different the Radeon 9550 128 Mb (but 64bit version) is to the Radeon 9200 and Geforce FX 5200. I'm right in saying the 9550 and 5200 are DX9 parts, whereas the 9200 is a DX8.1 part I guess, but what is the real diiference under the bonet so to speak?

Is there any real difference between the 9200 and 5200? and how much better is the 64 bit memory version of the 9550 to these two?

Cheers!

One is a DX8 card and the other is a DX9 card. They come in 64 and 128bit memory interfaces each. Interestingly enough, the 5200 was originally developemed as a 128bit part but i guess market forces made them primarily shift to 64bit parts

GeForceFX5200 - 250/200, 4/2 pipe configuration, 128bit and 64bit (128bit = 6.4GB/s, 64bit = 3.2GB/s), DX9
Radeon9200 - 250/200, 4/2 pipe configuration, 128bit and 64bit (128bit = 6.4GB/s, 64bit = 3.2GB/s), DX8
Radeon 9550 - 250/200, 4/2 pipe configuration, 128bit (128bit = 6.4GB/s), DX9

The 9550 should be a 128bit part
