Budget gaming pc!

Hey all,

My friend would like to build a budget gaming pc (something that can run Battlefield 3 on his HD tv.) I've read in the forums that the i5 2500k is a really nice processor for the price. He is looking to spend about 700$ he needs everything except a case. thanks for your help!

For a budget CPU I would go with an AMD x4 965 or even AMD hexa cores. Good price for what you get.

Im running Battlefield 3 with an AMD x4 955 overclocked to 3.6ghz. Runs really smooth. and half the price what you would pay for a 2500k

what about the peripherals as in the monitor keyboard and mouse, also is he wanting any overclocking ability too. and you are in america right?
