Budget help.

Hey guys. well after working all summer ive finally gotten enough money to build my very first pc.im gona be doing gaming with it, thats about all .
ive been doing alot of reserch and learning over the past few months but what i need some advice as help on is my budget.
i currently have $1,665

I need to budget this money into my computer as well as monitor and keyboard etc. Im thinking spending roughly 1450 on the computer itself with keyboard and mouse included?
anyways could you guys give me a hand
if it helps any my build will be intel based(conroe)

if u want you could check out my thread even tho its a amd but its in ur budget with a $60 mail in rebate all together and with a 19" widescreen but thats ur choice hope i helped=\
