Budget Multi-Monitor Video Card

Hi there!

I'm currently looking for a budget multi-monitor graphics card so I can connect 3 LCD monitors. I don't use my PC for gaming or anything, just basic web surfing so I don't need a high quality video card, just the bare minimum that won't lag and allow me to connect multiple monitors. I don't have a budget, but the cheaper the better.

My motherboard is Intel D865PERL and I use Windows XP
My monitors only use a VGA connector.

If you guys have any suggestions, please let me know!! :)

I would recommend the Radeon HD 6950. It's a bit pricey, but it's one of the best performing graphics cards out there, while maintaining a good price.

we're talking about sub $50 cards here and you come recommend a $200+ card?:confused:

....if you took the time to look up his board you would realize its AGP.... PCI-e need not apply.

reason for two cards is he wont be finding a AGP or PCI card with three native dvi or vga outputs on it, so he will need TWO cards.

Thanks for all the help guys, appreciate it! So basically, my motherboard doesn't support PCI? I can just get 2 identical AGP cards and call it a day? But I want to connect triple LCD monitors,, the AGP cards you guys provided only has 1 VGA input each; does that mean I need 3 graphics card to connect 3 monitors?

you have one AGP slot, and 4 or 5 pci, so you can use PCI but not PCI-e which is the current standard for graphics cards. if you have one agp card with a output on it, you just need a second card to add so you can have two more.

Yep, my current computer has a AGP card already so I only need to buy a PCI card, but that PCI card has to have 2 VGA output correct? Something like the image below. Also, based on my computer needs, how much MB would the card have to be? I see 16, 32, 128 MB graphics card.

your question confuses me, id say your powersupply could probably handle several low end video cards, they dont necessarily need to have vga at the back, you can get a dvi to vga adapter and as long as you have one connector on one and two on the other you should be good to go for three monitors yes?
