Everything's from newegg except the processor. The total is $1743.98 with shipping. I know tigerdirect doesn't have tax, but does newegg? To me it seems expensive for the 2.13GHZ C2D. But it's probably cuz of the monitor, keyboard, and mouse. So how's this build?

That rig should be more than sufficient for those games.
 
i think it will be too much. he actually wanted to spend only $1300, but he said if its worth it he'll spend more. But is there really a significant difference between DDR2 800 and 667?
also: is there tax for newegg (in California)

look at my build. it is better than yours and totals out to around 1800 dollars US. it also has nice keyboard, mouse, and 19in monitor. but it dosent include a case

Most games can use widescreen, so it really doesn't matter which you get.

Yes it is better RAM, that is why it is more expensive ;)
 
He wants to spend as little as possible. Notice he wants a $70 headset...so with that added to your build and a case is more than $1900. also what sound card do you have, wut mobo do you have, and wut "nice" mouse and keyboard do you have.

i didnt build it yet, if you look in desktop computers i have a thread called my conroe build. mostly all from newegg except cpu
 
but still your build will become $1900+ with the stupid headset he wants and a case. wut sound card,mobo,mouse, and keyboard do you have?
