Build me a computer....

Hey im looking to put together a computer... I will be buying all my parts from www.canadacomputers.com as they are local to me.

Im looking to spend less than 1000$ AFTER tax (14%). I wont need an OS, monitor, or keyboard mouse. Everything else I will need. Mostly for gaming.

can somebody recommend a set up for me? Preferabbly with parts from that website.

Why limit yourself to canadacomputers.com when you can order online at stores like NCIX.com or directcanada.com and you can save the PST if you are not located in the same province as they are.

Not sure how it would look like at canadacomputers, but here's an example of a system, pretty much what I am looking to build soon.

PSU: Corsair 520HX

HDD: Seagate 320gb

Mobo: Asus P5B

CPU: Intel E6320
For that, you should wait for price drops which are due on July 22nd and possibly get a more powerful CPU, at least this was my plan.

RAM : Corsair XMS2 2x 1gb DDR2-667

GPU: EVGA 8600GTS
Get a 8800GTS if you want more power...

Case: Antec 900

DVD writer: Lite-On model

I believe the total is about 985$ with GST only... Of course its very possible to choose another case and other part, I just chose this case because it seems to be popular and I know it has good air flow.
 
go for an 8800 gts, if ur getn vista , atleast 2 gbs , i heard the Antec 900 isnt that good of a case too much dust and the fans that come with it are kinda flimsy and fragile. atleast 600 watt power supply . everything else seems good
