Build me cheapest comp to run Crysis on medium

Could you please? I dont know what to do to upgrade my comp now (socket 939) so I reckon im going to make a mobo upgrade along with cpu (socket AM2/775), ram and video card. Im saving til December to buy it.

Also, right now I have 2gb of pc3200 ram sorted like this: 1x1gb, 2x256mb and 1x512mb (obviously not in dual channel) Will switching to 2x1gb improve my performance?

i would say get a faster processor and a 8800gt and you should b able to run it fine although your ram is pretty slow but might work fine

It would, but probably not much or even a noticeable amount.

To be honest when I upgraded from 1x1 Gig to 2x1 Gig I only saw a little difference and I use my PC for gaming.

If you had Dual Channel support... probably.. but if you never even get close to using all 2GB... worthless.
