build now or wait for more quad core CPU's?

well basically i'm pretty stoked that i have money to build me a new pc since the school semester's over and i dont have to put all of my income towards tuition.....but i dont know whether i should go ahead and get me something now or wait x amount of time for better pc parts in due time? or should i just go dual core intel now since i'm guessing it'll take some time for software to be developed to take advantage of quad core cpu's? well basically, i'm gonna be using it for lotsa gaming and one game that i plan on blowing like my whole social life for o'll be Crysis :p...i think they're planning on releasing it august...should i take the plunge now or wait?
 
I think it's safe to buy a computer now, there's the 8800GTX's, Intel's Dual Core CPU's are excellent for gaming and get 2GB of DDR2 RAM you'd be ready to go and play Crysis... When it comes out :P
