Ok can anyone on here find a good laptop deal that is 1100 or under, will play some light games, be fast? Anything better than this?

120 gb hdd
256mb 8400m gs
2gb ram

Vista Premium

I know I said I was getting a vostro but with tax and ship it was 1300 and I just can't afford that right now, so I'm searching again. Please help me this last time...I know your sick of seeing my threads, and I'm sorry...thanks for replies...That one is 1100 btw.

That is the same price with a worse graphics card and half the ram. :rolleyes:

The Dell Vostro 1500 can be upgraded to the same specs as that HP for $1,064... but I would prefer HP over Dell. However, the Dell price included $150 for the upgrade from 1GB to 2GB RAM, and you could do that yourself for $70, and then sell the 1GB ram for like $30, so if you do that then you're looking at around $150 cheaper.

Still, that HP is a pretty decent computer.
 
I ordered the Vostro...I'm a flip flopper I know lol....but oh well. I got the 2.0 ghz processor, am I going to see a huge performance drop from the 2.2?

Yea, that one is on the hp website, just go to entertainment notebooks then choose 6500t and hit customize. The dell was 1305 with shipping and tax, I wasn't going to get it but it was the difference between an hp with a 8400m gs or the dell with the 8600m Gt and I wanted the better graphics. It was like 200 over budget lol, so now I have 7 dollars for the next 2 weeks :|...Borrow from my parents lol!
