I currently have a asus cm1855 with a rosewill 1000w psu and a asus gtx 770.So here is the deal,My cpu is bottle necking my gpu and my pc is store brought so i cant even overclock it,with that said i want to change the board, processor, ram and case. ..I plan on re-using the psu, gpu, HD, and optical drive.I want to use a Intel based cpu and motherboard which would be compatible with my gpu.

I am looking to make this future proof for a few years/and be able to run games on the highest settings.I have no budget.

CPU/MoBo will have no impact on brand of GPU used; so long as the GPU physically fits in the MoBo (PCIe, PCI, AGP), you won't have any issues. In your case, you have a PCIe card, so any modern MoBo (read: EVERY modern MoBo) will fit it.

Browse Intel CPUs on Newegg, pick a few you like, then look for combo deals. Or if you want to pick CPU/MoBo's manually, just be sure you're using the same Socket type.

I would just keep your current one. Then it would just cost a board and a CPU cooler. A 6300 overclocks pretty well and you could dump more money in your GPU.

No a 63000 is not better then a 3930K . Forgot you already have a GTX770. If you want to spend that much extra, go for it. Myself I would get a socket 1150 and a 4770K and save a 230 bucks just on the processor.

ya that does sound like a good idea.Is the hyper threading worth it?
