and i have some questions about the RAM. i know the motherboard

has a 1066 standard, but what would happen if i were to put DDR2 800 in it? i mean, would it cut performance?

The posted parts should be fine, though what are you doing about video?

As for the RAM, it will "cut performance", but probably not by a noticeable amount. For a while the debate was going on about getting DDR2 667 rather than DDR2 800 as the the difference was minuscule.
