Thinking about getting a new video card in February when ATI releases their new cards, and CrossFire with this one so it's not put to waste.

Please, give me some feedback on what I can do to keep everything low price/good FPS.

CPU Not Strong Enough

um that cpu wont be able to push that video card at all. If you can I'd upgrade the CPU. I'd get a C2D at least.

?

 Did you say you're going to Crossfire the X1950P0? I would just get the 8800GTS instead of doing that. That CPU is better...but why are staying socket 939? It's going away. Just curious. I would def go either AM2 or 775. I'd go 775 and Core 2 Duo.

The Core 2 e6300 costs as much as that CPU.
Also, screw the 1950pro crossfire, get the 8800gts.
You could slash some money off of that monitor and get better RAM and such but that's your choice.

Is the core 2 supported by that motherboard? The mobo is 939 socket, and I don't have all the money in the world to spend. I don't have a job or anything... I'm 14 :( and not many businesses around here will hire me.

I'll probably change that monitor to some more ram. 184 pin I remember now.

I want that 1950, it'll last until february and then I'll CrossFire it with a new ATI card then. Or can I even do that? Do I have to have the same 2 video cards? If so, that sucks.

At some point I'll get a job after I'm 15 and then I'll get some more upgrades.

And I'll get 2 gigs of ram and a lesser monitor, but what about my PSU guys?

I have a 500W right now, but I don't think it is good on 12v rails. (I'm still learning about them)

The motherboard you'll have to change to a 775 to work with a Core 2. You should change your build unless you already ordered some of the parts.

You can't crossfire a 1950 in conjunction with a newer card. You'd need to get another X1950 crossfire edition. An 8800GTS would be a better choice.

Your PSU is also completely insufficient for the system you're planning on. You'll need to upgrade.

As I said go with the 8800gts because crossfire requires 2 of the same cards.
As ceewi said, you need to pick a different PSU.
