No real budget. I'll get a new part group every other week. I'm considering....

2- 74gb raptors
2- 250gb maxtor10
either a seasonic s12 600w or turbocool 510 SLI- PSU
OCZ 2GB (2 x 1GB) Platinum- ram
thermaltake big typhoon- heatsink

I've read good things but i dont know bc i read a lot of good things about a lot of products. I'm still lost on video & sound cards

Graphics cards...
7800GTX 512MB
7900GTX
X1900XT
X1900XTX

Probably the X1900XT is your best deal/money, but if you want the best of the best, get 2 7900GTX when they come out in a month.

Sound cards--
Get an Audigy 2 ZS Platinum, or you could go with the new ones. stick with Creative Labs. Period

ur ram deppends on weather you are going to be playing games, i would chose 1x2gb of ram if you want to game

Yeah.. at least 2gb ram. And if you can Get two x1900 and a crossfire mobo:D I know you have a mobo already, but a crossfire one would be freakin tight!

2 x1900? why 2 vids?

Because you get REALLY! high fps. Like Css, all max, you could easily get past 200fps. And then games like Doom3, that have the ultra high setting, you can run it on that, and still be getting 100+fps. Same thing with fear. Just think how nice that card is, and performs and then double that, and you have crossfire, or nVidea Sli. :D
