-You can get an equal or better AMD processor in lieu of an Intel processor - case in point - I can get an Athlon X2 at the cost of a plain Celeron - single core. Deals are to be found in AMD processors as Intel is just a name you are buying.
-Buy name brand keyboard and mouse (Logitech) and save $25 that otherwise would've been spent on a no-name unit.
-You need fans, fans, fans!!!
-how about RAID? You'll be glad you did. It's not expensive and it'll improve performance and reliability. -You need a RAID card for this + 2 or more drives.
-You are forgetting a sound card. You are running a gaming system, and all I do is e-mail, music, office productivity, and the usual Linux stuff and I have a sound card!
-You might want DVI. it's a better image. I like Mitsubishi LCDs, but Newegg doesn't have them. I bought a Mitsubishi from OfficeDepot. I don't see anything about DVI, but - if you have it, good. If you don't, then consider it. DVI is straight digital. Analog has to be converted to analog from the card to the monitor, and at the monitor it is back to digital again. You lose quality from that.
