Like many of the people on the forum, soon I will be starting to build my own rig. However, I do not currently the cash to do the whole thing. So my plan is to buy it piece by peace over time, then put it togeather. Since computer parts become ancient in no time flat, In which order chronilogicly should I buy the parts? OR should I scrap the whole Idea and just wait and buy everything at once?

start with a plan...intel or amd, then research the parts for the spec you are looking for (gaming or general).
when you have done that buy a case and a motherboard and buy parts to fit your motherboard.

After you do what dragon said you should prolly buy them all at once, as long as you KNOW what you want. That way you can put it together in 1 day insted of having to wait for each part to arrive.

Definitely start thinking but id reccomend you buy it all at once (then you can command a discount too sometimes)
