Building a Computer -- Critique my parts?

Hey guys, as the title says I never built a computer before, my knowledge is pretty basic, and I was wondering if you guys could go over my list for me?
(This computer would be mostly for web browsing, storing music, and gaming. Games which would be StarCraft II, League of Legends, Team Fortress 2, hopefully in medium settings.)
I'm also basing my build on this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qY1Zfp4ccks&feature=related

1) CPU AMD Athlon II X2 250 Regor 3.0GHz
(I heard this was good)

2) Motherboard ASRock 760GM-GS3 AM3 AMD 760G Micro ATX AMD Motherboard

3)Video Card Okay for this I was thinking this DIAMOND 6750PE51GSB Radeon HD 6750 1GB which is $100
or this cheaper one SAPPHIRE 100287VGAL Radeon HD 5670 (Redwood) 512MB should I pay the extra money for the diamond, is it that much better?
Does anybody have a suggestion, the cheaper the better?

4) RAM Team Elite 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin
(I'm pretty confident about this)

5) Hard Drive Seagate Barracuda 7200.12 ST3500413AS 500GB 7200 RPM

6) The Case, Power Supply, and Optical Drive
I have a few options...
I have a desktop laying in my garage somewhere that I think I can just take the case and optical drive and buy this LOGISYS power supply
Buy this RAIDMAX Tornado and take my optical drive from the garage computer.
Or this LOGISYS (but I see a lot of bad reviews on both these cases)

What do you guys think? I would really like it to be around $300
Are all of these things compatible and am I missing any wires here...? I feel like I'm missing a lot of wires.

And thank you so much! I realize this is a lot of text I put up here... took me about 25 minutes to type this...

Oh okay, what's a good motherboard for that price (or will that one work just fine, it's just lowend)?

Same question goes for the power supply, and so all of these are compatible?

Sorry for the ton of questions, but also am I missing any wires or connectors? (I have a mouse, monitor, keyboard)

- four ram slots just incase you feel like adding more ram down the road, and supports am3+

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817139026
- 17 bucks after MIR, 37 before, even then its a good deal

-don't forget the Operating System, another 100 bucks for Win7 Home Premium, or Professional for a little more..i think its 150 right now?

Try looking at pricier cases, honestly in the long run, spending a little on your case and reusing it in a future build will save you money possibly. I suggest Antec and Silverstone, Antec 200 and 300 would probably be a good starter case.
