With $1000 don't you think you should invest in a full size ATX motherboard? Also, check Newegg.com for better deals on the motherboard and CPU.

I'm assuming the same CD/DVD drive is being used. That looks pretty good and a much better board.

i think you are going to want to get a different power supply, usually the ones that come with the case arent all that great check out PSU 101 to learn a bit more on power supplies..

as for the video card, thats awfully expensive for just a plain jane 6800, in my opinion there are better cards for the money, if you have a look here you can see that the X800 XL(yes i know im partial to it) beats the 6800GT and in one case the 6800 Ultra, granted thats just one benchmark, and the 6800 isnt included in it, but we can assume the gt and ultra are better than the 6800, and the X800XL is the same price if not cheaper as the 6800...so i would say get a different video card, theres better bang for your buck out there, you might also shop around neweggs refurbished section...they have some excellent deals there from time to time....but look at a few video card benchmarks, different games treat different cards better...just do your homework, check out that link i gave you and look at some of the other games and whatnot to maybe find what card you want.

looks good to me, they have them as cheap as 282 if you want to stay within your budget a little more, but you might also wanna wait for an impartial judge to chime in, but in my opinion for that price range thats about the best card you can get.

If your going to go with the ATI 800XL go with the $282 ASUS
It will run just as well and it is retail box instead of oem.
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16814121530

The ATI X800 Pro is not as fast as the 6800 GT according to THG http://graphics.tomshardware.com/graphic/20050524/vga_charts-02.html#3d_mark_2005
but it is still faster then the 6800 256Mb PCI Express is $249.

This is the same for the ATI X800
The 128MB version may not be as fast is $189

The 256MB which I think is which was tested in the THG test is $236

the nf4 chipset is [so far and i expect it to last] superior

cd/dvd drive/burner: $39.99
Toshiba
there are far superior burners out there for less/same... have a look at cd/dvd 101.

ASPIre x-infinity 420w PSU ATX
at 18a on the 12v its basicly good enough but you can probably do better :) PSU 101.

Antec case w/ 380 watt TruePower psu: $90 (microcenter)

sure the case doesn't look great but I think it'll get the job done when it comes to gaming..you might have to wait a bit for the dvd/cd rw drive and harddrive but you can spend a little more and buy those early. Oh yeah you might wana add tax to the total.
