okay, i have been researching this pretty well and now i am going to take this a little further.
For a while now, i have been looking at alternatives to my normal car audio head unit which displays audio/video content.
I have this head unit:

Now, in order for me to add navigation(which i believe is possible) i need to go out and buy a 400-600$ adapter/navigation unit.
What i would like to do is build or buy a small form factor, "car specialized pc" that i can run Navi, music and video off of.
as of right now, my budget is not yet determined because im not sure what my overall cost is going to be.
Extra notes/points that i have:
-i would sell my head unit that i currently have for a head unit that has multiple inputs for audio.
-The PC would be connected to my head unit as an aux audio source, but i will have the smaller headunit in a different spot on my dash so i would have room for a 4-7" touchscreen for the PC.
-navigation on the pc would not be an issue, there are plenty of navigation options for me.

My question(s) are;
1. Is the posted link above a better solution than building my own?
2. I could use their tiny power supply on my system; good/bad?
3. What type of screen should i use, and where would be the best place to get it?
