Building a computer with $800

So i am trying to see if i could build this PC:

With the above parts- I know the graphics card can be a bit better.
But i really wanted to make sure that these parts were compatible. And could handle well. Could it play modern games on high settings?

Also, my friend has a GeForce GTX 570 lying around, and said i could use it.
With the above parts, what would i need to change if i did incorporate the Geforce?
 
Yup, that's a nice build, and compatible. If your friend gives you the 570, don't get the Radeon 6950 from that list, and use the saved money to get a i5 3570k.
 
Okay, thats good to hear. Will there be an issue with the power supply if i were to include the 570? My friend says it takes quite a bit of power, 570W+ according to him.
