Building a computer

This is my first time building my own computer. basically there are a few things i cant live with out.
1 - hooking up a 26" wide screen HD tv (resolution of 1366X768), so the video card has to be able to do an awesome job displaying on that. its a 1300 dollar HD tv so i want to take full advantage of it. maybe something with HDMI output if they make it. dont want DVI because DVI to HDMI looks shitty for the most part.
2 - im hooking up a surround sound system to it. its a 5000 dollar home theater system, so i need an AMAZING sound card i guess. really all i want is a sound card with a fiber optic output to go into my receiver.
3 - i would like to get something so that i could control certain parts with a remote control such as the DVD player. maybe windows media player for songs. things like that.
4 - i want to store movies on it so i want a very large hard drive. maybe a few in there.
5 - dvd burner is a must, would be my cd player, dvd player, cd burner and dvd burner all in one. want the dvd burner to be able to do dual layer discs.
6 - need it to multitask like a pro. i dont do any major programs, no video editing or anything like that, but i usually have at least 4 programs running just like AIM, WMP, Firefox, and then whatever else im playing with. lag drives me crazy, dont want to deal with it.
7 - wireless internet built in.
thats pretty much my needs on it. i figured it would be best to determine that and then find everything else to hook them all up (motherboard and what not)
so if you guys and gals could help me put everything together i would greatly apreaciate it. i dont know enough to get full blown into it, but i know enough to get myself into trouble. thank you

It must be time for a usb sound card with optical. http://www.academicsuperstore.com/market/marketdisp.html?PartNo=728001
For multitasking you seem ready for the AMD Opteron line of dual cored cpus. http://www.amd.com/us-en/Processors/ProductInformation/0,,30_118_8796_9240,00.html
Serial ATA drives for storage along with a large ide primary. http://www.wdc.com/en/products/index.asp?cat=3

So far every video card other then older AGP cards has dvi output unless you find a model with s-video only.

why wouldnt i just buy a sound card that has an optical output? that is by far the most important part. i need a really high quality sound card, one with very little distoration, im assuming ill need a large power supply as well to keep the distortion down.
