Is building a computer easy or do i need a professional to do it? Also if i should build a computer, what is the best site to buy the parts from and what are all of the parts that i need?

it is very easy and you do not need a profesional to do it...:)

Its easy building a computer you dont need a professional to do it. the best site i think is www.newegg.com and what you need is a Processor, Motherboard, Memory, Powersupply, Optical drives, Videocard, Soundcard and a Operating System and a Harddrive. and if you dont have a monitor youll need one and some speakers or headphones and a case to put your computer together in. i dont think i missed anything.

but if you are a beginner we will configure something for you... because you can't just get any processor and any motheboard... wont all work together then:D

oh ya i probably should have posted that but ya if you need help well help you put togetther a list to make sure it is compatible.
 
What i want the computer for is gaming(of course). I have 1800 us dollars that i am willing to spend on it but if you can get it for less that would be great. thanks a lot for doing this for me.

What you should do is wait tell the end of this month cause Conroe comes out on July 23rd and prices on CPU's will drop so if you can wait a month then i would get conroe but it is up to you.

Its a new processor architecure from intel which is beating all market level x86 CPUs out there right now, it's coming out July 23 (unconfirmed).
