I don't thin the t5500 would be used in my "dream" laptop, more like a t7300 or t7400 would be in mine :D. Nothing like 800 mhz fsb in a laptop with the power of C2D.

You realize overclocking in a laptop is a big no-no. There's never enough cooling to overclock them, you'll just burn up the processor. You might be about to get 200 more mhz outta of it and thats it.

any experience with them? they are not a choice because it is near impossible to get off the shelf laptop GPUs. i edited the first post with a better options (8 series GPU FTW), although I am keen on the OC potential

Nice Laptop, the only thing I would change is that small HDD, I'd get atleast a 160GB if I was spending that much money already. Have fun with that thing :D
