Building a gaming computer

I have an assignment to do, and what it's telling us is to design an inhouse gaming centre...we have to make the computers good for gaming obviously, so I came here to see if anyone had ideas of what sort of a build/what specs I could use if that makes sense :confused: (sorry I'm not very good at explaining...I mean like the OS, CPU, Motherboard, memory, graphics, hardrvie, powersuply etc.) I need a description on all the things used, so thanks in advanced everyone who helps,

well it's just for an assignment, and prices don't really matter that much...if I had to make one it would be around $3000
