Building a gaming PC, how do these specs look?

Get a better power supply, that only has dual rails and the amperage isnt that great.

Other then that, it looks like a good setup.

could you post a link to one you recommend please? (prefer newegg)

Also as far as windows, should I get XP or get Vista? I keep hearing people having problems with vista is this true?

I was going to get that same PSU, but then someone sent me a review that they did on that one and it is el crapo. For a decent PSU, check the one in my sig.

Are all these items vista compatible? Anybody have any issues with vista and building a new rig?

If your planning on gaming and you have 2gb of ram and a 8800GTX, i would get Vista. In the not to distant future you comp will be able to utilize DX10.:)

The second one, the first is for system builders who require a number of system keys.
No get the first one, it's cheaper and is the same exact thing! Nothing to do with needing multiple keys.

Save yourself the money on the pretty box and get the system builders (OEM) version.

No i mean, you get so many times you can install it on different comps. Each one uses a variance of the original key.

Anyways, your probably right. :)
