Building a gaming PC. Need help.

Hopefully I've posted this in the correct category:

I am looking to build a high end gaming computer that will have the capability to run games like Skyrim/Crysis 3 with maximum frame rates and on ultra settings across the board. I also would like to keep in mind future upgrades so that is a major factor in my component decisions. I have found a PC build that seems to cover the system requirements. My question is, does this build allow what I am looking for as far as gaming goes, are all the components compatible and will this build be easy to upgrade as future components become available. I'm pretty new to building a PC of this magnitude so any help is really appreciated. Also, are there any components that I am missing or should consider looking into? Please remember, total noob here. :)

Welcome to the Fourm

Well according to these parts your budget is 800-900 dollars, but it would be nice to know your official budget. And so far its a good build and its capable of running skyrim and crysis on max.

So budget really hasn't been something that has played a factor in these decisions, I'm not looking to spend a million bucks obviously but whatever the final decision is on the components will be a cumulative total of multiple saved pay checks lol. I'm really looking for just a beast system that can play the most graphically intensive games of today at maximum fps with perfect rendering. Basically looking for a system for flawless play on uber games. No specific budget just a solid system. :)

If you consider upgrade, get 990FX chipset with 700W PSU.

If you are going to overclock the PC, it may worth get a after market heatsink and FX8320 to save some money.

650W is plenty for everything except CFX and SLI, which 700W won't be enough for anyway. OP, looks good but I doubt it will max out Crysis 3. If you upgrade to a 280X, you will be able to.

I read some reviews say single r7 270X system full load ~330w. So add another's one probably~ 500w . Decent 700W seems ok

A 270X's TSP is 180W, so add 125W for CPU and another 180W for another 270X, and even 650W is enough. But I suppose I would gwt 700W if it's not much more. But I would certainly go for a 280X before a better PSU.
