building a gaming rig: (budget 1500)

Can someone tell me what they think of this setup I got set out? I want to build my own gaming rig and this will be my first so I want it to be the best I can get for my budget. Obviously I want everything to work/mesh well together as well

You would need tripple channel RAM since the Core i7 1366 has a tripple channel memory controller.
So 6GB or RAM 3x2GB of RAM would give you optimum perforumance otherwise everything looks good.
What would you be using the computer for?

Do you really need a soundcard because onboard sound cards nowadays are not bad and also they support minimum 8 channels of audio nowadays.

I would be using it for most anything pretty much, but mainly gaming,

EX: Starcraft 2, BBC 2 and 3 (when it comes out) and oblivion possibly modded with graphics enhancements and what not
